How it works
Fifteen seconds from song to monster
Hear something good
A song on the radio, a playlist at the gym, a band down the street. Any music you can hear counts.

Hooklings listens for a few seconds and names the song with ShazamKit. The audio never leaves your phone.
Hatch it
An egg in the song's colours cracks open, and the song's Hookling joins your Songbook as a sticker.
Same song, same monster
Your friend's copy looks just like yours
A song always hatches the same Hookling, on every phone in the world. So "what monster is your favourite song?" has one answer, and you can compare.
How you heard it still matters. The tempo, key and loudness of the moment shape your Hookling's temperament, so the same song caught in a loud club and on quiet headphones gives the same monster with a different personality.
The Songbook
64 species, 12 elements
The genre decides the element. Pop hatches Light, Rock hatches Thunder, Hip-Hop hatches Stone. Collect them all into a sticker album of everything you've heard.

A rare coloured-vinyl look, about 1 song in 256. Same song, same luck: it's Limited Press for everyone.
Hidden Tracks
Twelve secret species, one per element, about 1 song in 2,048, each with its own art and signature move. Some arrive as a Sealed Tape that opens in a later update.
The Tour
Reverb City has gone quiet
Flatline Records has put The Loop on every speaker in town: one endless, perfectly smooth background track that drains the hooks out of every other song. Hooklings stuck in it turn grey and sleepy. Take your best three through the city's venues and set them free.
